What We Do

Hydrographic and Bathymetry Surveys

We provide turnkey offshore geotechnical site investigations from the initial planning stage to delivery of an integrated geotechnical engineering report. We supply a complete offshore geotechnical solution with wireline sampling, in situ testing and coring, sea bed coring and CPTU services. Using state of the art equipment and experienced, dedicated personnel, we provide an integrated data acquisition and consultancy service to our clients. We work in a wide range of industries, including oil and gas, renewable energy, government, civil engineering and dredging providing quality data and insight for our clients to design, build and manage their offshore projects.

We have expanded our marine geotechnical capability over the years to meet the increased demand for integrated geological and geophysical surveys from shallow to deep water.

We conduct bathymetric surveys using various modern equipment attached to a survey vessel. We can utilize uncrewed survey vessels to improve project efficiencies and reduce mobilizations.

The vessel covers the area with a series of long and cross profiles from which a dense regular grid of levels is generated. Our surveys use highly accurate GNSS (GPS) systems to link each measured distance to a particular depth on the map.

Data is delivered to the customer as required including an elevated model to inform decisions for nearshore and land-based projects.

These provisions are usually conducted using specialized equipment that maps and measures different waterbodies' features like depths and contours.

We are the underwater cartographers who, through specialized tools and procedures, can function as experts in mapping the hidden world beneath the waves. Surveys are based on meticulous analysis, which details the exact configuration of the sea floor, including every feature that the untrained eye may tend to pass over. This data is critical for a variety of purposes: This data is essential for a variety of purposes:

  • Safe Navigation for Ships: With our fully mapped and extreme-detail bathymetric charts, navigation is well protected to avoid collisions with underwater mountains & shipwrecks.
  • Planning and Design of Offshore Structures: Accurately obtaining information about the seafloor is an excellent priority for engineers building offshore examinations such as oil rigs, wind farms, and submarine pipelines. Our company's surveys are a basis for safe and consistent deals in the construction industry.
  • Understanding Coastal Processes and Hazards: Examining the seafloor transformation throughout the period provides the necessary information to warn the coastal residents about most probable hazards like erosion and inform them that tides and currents play a particular role in determining the coastline's location.
  • Environmental Monitoring and Resource Exploration: Our surveys create awareness and indirectly conserve marine ecosystems. They are here to help us monitor pollution gradients, trace and identify the abodes of endangered species, and detect potential resources for inquiries.
