(03) The data

Hold to run a multibeam sweep.

Every colour is a measured depth. Blue is deep, orange is shallow.

Colour bathymetry of a surveyed seabed basin, deep areas in blue rising to shallow areas in orange, with contour lines
Grid 10 cm to 1 m IHO S-44 Order 1 XYZ · DTM · AutoCAD · GIS

Press and hold the button, or hold Space or Enter. Let go early and the sweep eases back. Press again when it finishes to run it once more.

(04) Landfalls

The surf zone is where data usually breaks. Ours doesn't.

Boats survey at high tide. LiDAR drives and flies at low tide. Every platform runs RTK to the same base station, so you get one continuous surface from the deepwater approach to the landing point.

MULTIBEAM SINGLE-BEAM VEHICLE LIDAR DRONE LIDAR HIGH TIDE LOW TIDE VESSEL · MBES BOAT · SBES 4×4 · LIDAR UAV · LIDAR

Multibeam echosounder

Nearshore to about 3 m depth. Full seabed coverage.

Single-beam echosounder

Very shallow and surf-affected water, down to 0.5 m.

Vehicle LiDAR

Intertidal flats, beach and dunes at low tide.

Drone LiDAR

Soft sediment, mangrove and closed-off landings.

Typical 1-sigma accuracy in good conditions, confirmed by calibration and check lines on every job.

(05) Method

Four steps. No surprises.

  1. C-TRACK surveyor setting up a survey instrument on a vessel deck at sunrise

    Plan

We write the survey plan and method statement against your spec, and agree the datum before anyone sails.

  2. C-TRACK crew deploying a pole-mounted multibeam echosounder at night

    Mobilise

Our own calibrated equipment, and crews inducted to your HSE rules. Offshore crews hold BOSIET and HUET.

  3. C-TRACK surveyor processing bathymetry in a vessel survey room

    Acquire

Data is checked on board as it comes in, and you get a progress report every day.

  4. Point cloud of concrete armour units from a 3D underwater scan

    Deliver

Processed data, charts and reports in your formats, with the calibration and QC records attached.

Our crews, on site.

Based in Navi Mumbai and Dubai. Working across the Middle East, South and Southeast Asia, and Africa.

(06) Hire survey boat

Meet C-ATLAS.

Our purpose-built survey vessel for coastal and nearshore hydrographic, geophysical and geotechnical work. Available to hire for your project.

C-ATLAS, the C-TRACK survey boat, cruising through calm sea under a storm sky with sunbeams breaking through
  • 14.9mLength overall
  • 4.5mBeam
  • 0.7mDraft
  • 17knMax speed
  • 2 × 325HPDiesel inboard
  • IRSClassed, HDPE hull

01

800 × 800 mm moonpool

Multibeam, singlebeam and sub-bottom profilers go down through the hull, sheltered from the sea state.

02

Survey control room

An indoor survey desk with four 21-inch HD monitors for acquisition, navigation and QC, plus a dedicated IT rack for the electronics.

03

500 kg deployment davit

Controlled launch and recovery of survey sensors, sound velocity profilers and sampling gear.

04

Quiet power on station

A 10 kW Mitsubishi marine generator and 550 W of solar run the survey electronics independently of the main engines.

05

Stable HDPE hull

A 4.5 m beam on a 14.9 m hull gives a wide working deck and low motion, which keeps MBES and SBP data clean.

06

Navigation suite

Chart plotter, AIS Class B and VHF radio for safe transits, vessel tracking and station keeping.

07

Crew on board

Bunk beds for four crew, seating for 8 to 10, a pantry, and a toilet with shower for longer campaigns.

08

Safety kit

A 12-person liferaft, lifebuoys, a fire station on deck and AIS Class B tracking.

(07) FAQ

Straight answers.

Do you own your equipment?

Yes. Our survey equipment is owned, calibrated and ready to ship. The kit that arrives on your vessel is the kit we tested.

How fast can you mobilise?

It depends on location and scope, but owned equipment and an experienced crew pool let us move at the pace EPCIC projects need. Tell us your window and we will give you a straight answer.

Which standards do you work to?

IHO S-44 for hydrography, IMCA M 200 and M 252 for marine survey, and ASPRS and USGS specs for LiDAR. Our management system is aligned to ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001.

Can one company cover offshore, the surf zone and the beach?

Yes. That is the job we are built for. Boat, vehicle and drone platforms all tie to the same RTK base, so your corridor arrives as one dataset, not four.

What formats will we get?

XYZ and DTM grids, LAS and LAZ point clouds, orthomosaics, AutoCAD and GIS charts, alignment sheets and KP profiles, plus the factual and interpretive report.

Are your offshore crews certified?

Yes. Offshore personnel hold BOSIET and HUET where the job needs it, and every crew is inducted to your HSE requirements.
